WHAT ALEXANDRA KNIGHT PRODUCTS ARE ESSENTIAL IN THE HAMPTONS AND WHY?
The French Market tote with alligator handles (I'm personally partial to the white). I'm always dashing from events, to the beach and then to lunch and it's the perfect tote for all of the above. Plus, everyone always asks where it is from so you know it is special!
The Alligator covered Birkenstocks - I cannot tell you how fabulous I think these are. To be able to send your lovable Birkenstocks directly to be custom alligator covered is beyond chic!
The Python Cosmetic Case is the ideal case to store in my tote to keep me organized and doubles as a little clutch if I am running to dinner. I just throw a credit card and my iPhone into it and I am good to go!
WHAT ARE YOUR 12 TO DO'S IN THE HAMPTONS?
Enjoy a sunset cocktail at Baron's Cove in Sag Harbor
Spend at least an afternoon each in the public gardens at artist Robert Dash's Madoo Conservancy, the sprawling spaces at Bridge Gardens which is part of Picnic Land Trust and in the outdoor sculpture garden at Longhouse Reserve founded by Jack Lenor Larson. All are endlessly inspiring!
Visit the Farmer's Market from 3-6 in Bridgehampton at the Hayground School. Aside from having all of the fresh local fare, Pierpont Farms sells bunches of fresh peonies, hydrangeas and dahlias every week at a really good price.
Shop at Heidi Klein. This British import opened the cutest resort wear shop in Southampton with caftans and biking I covet.
Take a Blade helicopter. From East Hampton to Manhattan in under 30 minutes. It's a game changer, let me tell you. Plus the view is gorgeous.
Burn a lot of calories with Jaime Morales aka @JaimeFit.com. Apparently I am going to look like Carolyn Murphy when he is finished with me!
Indulge in ice cream at home with locally made Old School Favorites Chocolate Sauce.
Start your day with a cup of Left Hand Coffee who just opened up their shop in Montauk.
One last dinner at Moby's in East Hampton. I love the vibe, dining at a picnic table and a solid selection of wine. The house-made wood-fired pizzas are simply divine.
Grab some cheese and wine and relax in the tiny garden behind Cavaniola's in Sag Harbor.
After dark enjoy a bonfire on Scott Cameron or Atlantic Beach. You cannot find a more exquisite way to enjoy the Hamptons!
